more randomness!
This time it is me and my little fam. We had the pleasure of hanging out with carey shaw back in September. She is an awesome photog from Regina and you can check her out HERE. I happened to stumble across her website and loved the feel of her photos. We brought along some vintage cameras and the kids had a great time playing with them. It was a lot of fun being in front of the camera but I will admit it was hard for someone like me to give up that control. Thank you to Carey for making the day a fun one.

Laura+Clint...wedding
This wedding happened way back in July of 2009 (told you I was going to be posting random things from last year). I still remember one of Laura's comments..."we should have gotten married in the summer" as she shivered on our way to our next stop for photos. July=summer right?? well only in Saskatchewan does the temp drop to 9 degrees celcius. Despite crazy weather it was pure awesomeness and I had an amazing time with Laura+Clint and their entire crew. Happy 6 month Anniversary!!

Family is just another word for support!
I got together with this family in the beginning of Dec. and had some great laughs with them. We toured through some woods and fields that were infested with mice (which I think I was the only freaked out one) but none the less I love how their family portraits turned out.
I try to get as many photo sessions up here on the blog but have missed so many. One day I will get caught up. There are weddings and grads, families and kids that will show up here randomly if you don't mind from sessions that were done last year.
Until then enjoy this awesome family!

nolan...2009
Nolan and his mom met me in Saskatoon again this year for some snowy, christmasy pics. They brought along Nolan's new sled his uncle gave him and it added a great prop for the photos and also some fun when we found a little hill to slide down. Nolan is such an awesome kid to be around, after spending time with him last year I was really looking forward to capturing his infectious spirit. We had to reschedule a couple of times because of -30 temps but we finally found a beautiful day that we could all enjoy.
enjoy,

fa la la la la la la la la.......
It is truely Christmas time in the prairies with the freshly fallen snow! I hope everyone arrives at their destinations safely this holiday season to spend time with friends and family. We are spending Christmas day with my husbands side and then headed up North to spend some more family time with my side. Looking forward to all the faces that bring me comfort and happiness and all the tastey treats that come with it. Merry Christmas to you all, enjoy it because it only happens once in 2009!
