Another lovely couple who I spent a gorgeous day up north where our province is the most beautiful (in my opinion). Ashley and Sam are so sweet and kind, a young couple with so much love for one another. A fresh bed of snow fell the day before and huge flakes fell off and on during the day to make it so perfect!

Ellen and Shaun..what an awesome couple! Their big day was back in January, although chilly but not crazy temps I was expecting in Jan. They were all a blast to work with and hang out with. I thought the manmade tree the guys made was very inventive and well used (you will see what I mean when you scroll through the photos) The guys didn't mind the birds but there were a few of US girls that were a wee bit terrified of them landing on us (or worse something else landing on us ;-). Thanks to the Grueter and Heinz family for having me share this beautiful day with them!

My favorite season is upon us...well I'm sure we will get a couple more storms but it's definitely here! I love Spring mainly because it's the furthest thing from Winter! Well I got my kids out but not without bribery, they will do anything for a trip to the confectionary to shop in the candy isle. I'm sure their demands will incase as time goes on. I had a great time with them as usual!

Can't believe I haven't posted these yet!! This is my sister ( i know she got the looks while me and my other sister got the brains baahaa if ya only knew!) with her little family and since these were taken we are very excited to wait for the arrival of a new baby brother or sister for Mr. Haaken later this fall! Haaken will be thrilled to share the attention with a new baby I'm sure ;-) Sooo you know what that means...a fun day packed of shopping for a maternity photo shoot, fun for me. For these photos Jill and I stayed up waaay too late hanging outfits together and if you have ever seen their closets we were definitely not short of ideas, but of course we had to go shopping for the shoot the day before anyway. No we are not the type to just throw things on, we have to agonize and fret over what we are going to wear and then change 20 times before leaving the house leaving the room looking like a bomb went off. Give me an amen if you are the same way. This shoot was a 2 day affair (and not one complaint from Rob, he rocks!!). Which also meant we got to pick out 2 outfits for everyone, this kind of thing excites us!!

Wish me luck tomorrow, the kids are off from school and I have already tried to bribe them so they will do a photo shoot. I purchased a film camera about 6 months ago and still haven't had a chance to break it in, thought they could be my ginny pigs.
